At Sturgis Baptist, we are delighted that you are considering joining us for a worship service. We want your visit to be a meaningful and comfortable experience. Whether you're a lifelong churchgoer or new to the faith, we believe that attending church should be an uplifting and enriching experience. We hope this guide will help you know what to expect when attending our church.
1. Warm Welcome:
As you arrive at our church, you will be greeted by friendly ushers and members of our congregation. We believe in the power of hospitality, and we strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
2. Worship Services: Our worship services are at the heart of our church life. You can expect a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs that celebrate the love and grace of God. Our services are designed to uplift your spirit and draw you closer to God through music, prayer, and scripture.
3. Parking: Parking is located behind the church. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the front door of the Sanctuary. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.
4. Dress Code: At Sturgis Baptist, there is no specific dress code. We encourage you to come as you are. Some people prefer to dress up in their Sunday best, while others come in more casual attire. What's most important to us is your presence, not your attire.
5. Childcare and Sunday School: We understand that families with young children may have unique needs. We offer childcare services for infants thru 8 years old during our worship services. Additionally, we have Sunday School classes at 10:00am Sunday mornings for children of all ages, where they can learn about the teachings of Jesus in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
6. Worship Duration: Our Sunday and Wednesday night worship services typically last about an hour. We respect your time and strive to create a service that is both meaningful and efficient.
7. Bible-Based Teaching: Our pastor delivers sermons that are grounded in the Bible and relevant to everyday life. You can expect to hear messages that inspire and challenge you to grow in your faith and relationship with God.
We hope this guide helps you feel more at ease when attending our church. Whether you're seeking spiritual growth, community, or simply a place to worship, Sturgis Baptist Church is here to welcome and support you on your faith journey. We look forward to having you join us soon!
